BHEL Vikram Higher Secondary School was established in 1967 and is managed by BHEL Shiksha Mandal which is patronized by BHEL Bhopal. Located centrally in Piplani in BHEL Township, Bhopal. This is a school which has to its credit alumnae holding illustrious positions ranging from I.A.S. officers.

BHEL Vikram Higher Secondary School  is spread over an area of 36481 sq.m. (9.15 acres) with built up area of 4413 sq.m.The school has a double storied building with well furnished rooms, well equipped Science Laboratories, a Language Laboratory and a good Library.

BHE VIKRAM HIGHER SECONDARY SCHOOL EXAMINATION SCHEDULE: 2010-11
TENTATIVE DATES
All the tests will be conducted in zero periods and in the last week of the month concerned. No Unit test will be conducted for classes I to V, instead there will be Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation. Besides Continuous Comprehensive Evaluation test of various skills such as Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing (LSRW) sports/ games G.K. Moral Science, SUPW, Drawing etc. will be conducted periodically.
CONDUCT OF EXAMINATIONS:
Terminals and Annual Examination will be conducted as per the schedule given before the examinations.
RULES FOR PROMOTION TO NEXT THE HIGHER CLASS :
  • The final assessment of a pupil at the end of the academic session will be based on the achievement of a student throughout the year.
  • The percentage of distribution of marks for class I to X will be 10% FA-I, 10% FA-2, 30% SA-1 = 50% 10 % FA-3, 10% FA-4, 30% SA-2 = 50% for Promotion.
  • The percentage of distribution of marks for class XI will be 10% First Terminal Exam., 10% of Second Terminal Exam., 10% of the unit tests and 70% of the Annual Examination for the Final Assessment.
  • To pass and to be promoted a pupil must obtain not less than 33% marks in each subject.
  • A student failing in one or more subjects may be promoted provided he/she requires a maximum of 10 marks to pass.
  • A student maybe awarded supplementary in one subject.
  • Proportionate weightage may be granted in the final examination ill case of absence on the medical ground, participation in sports, N.C.C. Camps with due permission, only on production of Medical Certificate/ Duty Certificate within three days after the examination is over.
  • LIBRARY RULES :
  • One book at a time will be issued to a student and he/she can retain it for maximum seven days subject to the availability of the books. Students who fail to return the book in time will be fined.
  • Books will be issued to students during the library periods.
  • Incase a book is damaged or lost, the person concerned will have lo pay full price of the book or to replace the same.
  • Writing, marking or underlining in the library book is absolutely forbidden.
  • Reference books, magazines, periodicals, newspapers etc. are nut be issued.
  • Perfect silence is to be observed in the Library.
  • RULES OF CONDUCT :>
  • Students should come to the school in the uniform prescribed.
  • The school uniform should be clean, complete and well pressed.
  • Students without proper uniform will not be allowed to attend the school and will be sent home.
  • Students will assemble daily on the prayer ground for prayer at the scheduled time and stand in rows. After the prayer, they will proceed to their respective class rooms.
  • All the students shall get into their classes immediately after the bell rung and take the seats assigned to them by the class teacher.
  • Every student shall stand up as a mark of respect to the teachers they enter the class and keep standing till the teacher takes his/her' or desires them to sit down.
  • Students should keep their classes and school premises clean and neat.
  • Running, playing and shouting inside the school building is not permitted.
  • No Student will ordinarily be allowed to leave the class during the teaching periods.
  • In the absence of the teacher, the captain assumes full responsibility for the order and discipline of the class.
  • ENGLISH WHICH IS THE MEDIUM OF INSTRUCTION SHOULD BE USED ATALL TIME IN THE SCHOOLCAMPUS.
  • No Student is allowed to bring watch, gold chains, rings or any other valuable articles to the school. Wrist watches maybe allowed during the examination.
  • Mobile phones and electronic gadgets are strictly prohibited.
  • No student is allowed to bring two wheelers without wearing helmet and valid license. Bringing car to school is strictly prohibited.
  • As regards the punishment given for violation of the school rules, decision of the Principal/Head of the Institution shall be final and binding.
  • BROTHER/SISTER CONCESSION.
    If more than one ward is studying in the school tuition fees for the second and the subsequent wards will be 50% of the tuition fees as chargeable to BHEL employee. Parents should submit an application with details about their wards for availing the concession for which it is necessary to present Medical Token. It will be applicable from the month in which the parent applies. Application for this purpose should be submitted every year.
